Followers can be a real blessing to your group! This is someone who is starting to become consistent and rooted in their faith through Bible reading, prayer, and confessing sin. They recognize sin in their life and will begin to change their actions as a result. This is a spot where people can become stagnant in their faith, not willing to keep growing, or not knowing how they can grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus. When a follower isn’t challenged to grow, they can become self-centered in their faith and not willing to consider others or serve within the church or with others. They will need your group to encourage them to follow the example of Jesus with loving service and care for others.
